YSL BIRTHDAY REVEAL!

I'd seen these on sale a looooooooooooooooong time ago.. at the beginning of June when all of the S/S shoes went on sale.  These shoes were a little over 30% on sale but they were still fairly extravagantly priced because the MSRP was slightly on the astronomical side to begin with. The shoes were selling on both Neiman Marucs and Bergdorf Goodman so I checked to see what was available and EVERY single size including half sizes from 35 all the way to 42 was available on both websites so I decided to not purchase them and sleep on it.

Well it's amazing what a few hours does because when I had finally decided to purchase them the next day they were sold out in practically EVERY size but two!!  ::CRIES::!!!!

Sadly they were NOT my shoe size ::SAD FACE::

The Hubs gallantly swooped in and called Neiman's and Bergdorf's on the daily for 3 weeks in a row calling both the wearhouses and checking with SA's and he finally LOCATED A PAIR!!!!

Anyways I agreed that these would be my birthday shoes so I wasn't allowed to open them until now.. but since we live overseas I didn't get these until about a week before my birthday so I really didn't have to wait that long. hahaha

When I took these out of the box The Hub's nodding his head goes "WHOAAA KARDASHIAN HUH!" hrmm.. perhaps I've subjected The Hub's to too much reality television :p

These are YSL Tribute platform sandals.

I think these are a sister version to the more well known Tribute sandal like these.

They are made out of suede.

And the main reason I was so drawn to these shoes was because they are covered with a bajillion tiny studs.  The studs are tri-colored.. there's gold, silver and copper.

They fit TTS.

They are 5 1/4" heels but they have a 1 1/4" platform so it wears like a 4" pair of high heels.

I'm really excited about these shoes because I had been searching for a pair of black bootie type shoes.. but I find that these are more versatile because I can wear them both in the warmer months as sandals and then wear them in the colder months with some black tights to give the look of black booties! :)
